Hilary Goodner

Naloni Bean

Doula

Naloni began attending the births of her siblings, cousins and family friends in 1998, long before becoming a mother herself. Now she and her husband have four children (plus twins in heaven) and each of their births were vastly different. In 2005, she trained through DONA to become a birth doula and since then has known without a shadow of doubt that she is called to feminine care!

In the birthing room, her aim is to capture the birthing mother’s vision, hold the sacred space and nurture the atmosphere from every angle. She is trained in rebozo techniques, certified in the use of TENS Unit for labor and birth, supports families through loss, and does reflexology and acupressure for pregnancy, birth, postpartum and menstrual-healing. Naloni brings her 20-year love of acu-points (through acupressure and reflexology) to every birth and believes in a hands on approach of support. She uses very specific points to help the mother’s body progress in labor effectively, opening up the energy pathways and helping the energy to flow in a way that equips and enhances the process from start to finish, as well as the recovery afterwards. Outside of the birthing room, she works with women coupling together these acu-points, mind-body work, nourishing nutrition and the Holy Spirit to bring about lasting healing in women from the womb forth that is physical, emotional and spiritual. Naloni is passionate about working with women in all seasons of childbearing & femininity to help facilitate whole-being nourishment and healing. This is the work that makes her heart truly overjoyed, as it is not just a job, but something she has no doubt she was called to do!

Jeri Jones

Birth Doula, Hypno-Doula,
Certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor

Jeri's passion for all things birth began shortly after the birth of her first son in 2013. An unplanned cesarean section led her to the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN), where she discovered an entire community of women who, like her, were scarred, both physically and emotionally from their birth experiences. She quickly recognized a common thread among these women; lack of both support and information in preparing for and giving birth. She poured herself into gaining all the knowledge she could about birth and her birth community and soon became a key resource for ICAN of Tulsa members who, like her, were seeking a different kind of experience with subsequent births.

In 2016, Jeri's desire to better serve and support expecting and new mothers led her to pursue professional training as both a birth doula and childbirth educator. Jeri is a DONA trained birth doula, Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Doula (Hypno-Doula), and the only certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor in the state of Oklahoma. She is also certified in the use of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), acupressure comfort measures, Rebozo and Spinning Babies techniques for pregnancy and birth. She is also basic first aid, CPR and AED certified and has completed blood borne pathogens training for doulas.

Jeri is the owner and founder of Breath of Life Birth and Parent Support Services LLC. She also serves as the Chapter Leader for ICAN of Tulsa and Treasurer for Tulsa Doulas Inc.

Jeri's mission is to empower women to be active participants in their journey through pregnancy, childbirth and into motherhood, helping families discover and communicate their unique needs and desires, teaching them how to use their voices to advocate for themselves, equipping them with information, tools and resources to make confident, informed decisions at every stage of their journey.
