Birth Assistant, Doula, Midwifery Student
Hilary has known since childhood that she was destined for a profession in healthcare. Before becoming a birth doula, she spent 15 years working in various medical roles, including CNA, laboratory work and EMS. After the medicalized birth of her first child, Hilary sensed that there was a more sacred way to approach the birthing experience, and she intended to discover it. In 2014, as she was preparing for the upcoming birth of her second child, Hilary attended a DONA birth doula workshop to fully equip herself with tools and information to help her achieve her ideal birth experience. After an empowering natural birth, she was inspired to help other women achieve the birth they desire, and her career as a birth doula was born. Hilary is passionate about education for birthing mothers and partners, as her own experience and clients' experiences have proven that knowledge is power. Hilary, too, is committed to education, staying up-to-date on the latest research and techniques that will equip her to better serve her clients. Her education and skills include TENS Unit Certification, Advanced Rebozo Techniques, Pressure Point Techniques, Peanut Ball, Benkung Belly Binding, Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Doula, pregnancy loss, and Closing of the Bones/Mother Blessing Ceremonies. Hilary is dedicated to the families she serves and looks forward to supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and beyond!

Birth Assistant, Midwifery Student
Kate Decker has an Associates of Science and is pursuing her bachelors in Midwifery at Midwives College of Utah. She is also a DONA trained doula. Kate has three children and has experienced a variety of different birth routes/outcomes. Her first born was with a midwife in the hospital with an epidural, second was OBGYN care with an induction and epidural, finally she had a midwife (Regina) at a birth center with a water birth! After experiencing the care of a midwife, her passion grew to pursue out of hospital midwifery instead of going to nursing school. Kate wants everyone to experience the birth they desire and feel so empowered while doing so. She is also very knowledgeable on breastfeeding and enjoys helping mothers during those first few weeks! Community means everything in the birth world and Kate can’t wait to continue expanding her community!
